These "Wuschel" dolls from Nanchen in Germany are some of the most adorable dolls we have discovered. They soft, cuddly, and make us want to snuggle up and go to sleep.
The Wuschel doll is made with cotton terry overalls and jersey knit arms and hat (all made from 100% organic cotton). The body is filled with pure KbT wool, which follows strict rules on how the sheep are raised and the conditions of their pasture.
The red doll has been awarded the Spielgut toy award in Germany.
The doll has a hand painted face, in a simple Waldorf style, with nothing that can be pulled off. A wonderful gift for any lucky young child. Available in red or blue.

Nanchen Dolls have been lovingly stitched in a small town just outside of Kassel, Germany, since 1983. The dolls are made from materials that are sourced from strictly organic cultivation and organic farming. The faces are individually hand-painted, giving each doll its own unique character.

In 2012 Nanchen was purchased from the original owners, by two enterprising young women (Janah von Buttlar and Juliane Krueger) who as children played with Nanchen dolls. We look forward to expanding the reach of these wonderful dolls to the American market.
